MTGCast
Magic the Gathering Podcast - Status : Running
In 2006 Dom discovered Podcasting, so he decided to do one of his own, he played a lot of Magic: the Gathering at that point so that was the subject
The first episode had 10 downloads (7 of which were him checking the feed) but before long he was getting 100 downloads a time, then 1000 downloads a time... before long the podcast was featured on popular fan site MTGSalvation
Before long the MTGCast podcast turned into the MTGCast Network and had over 15 shows producing almost daily content, many of the older MTG podcasts joined with MTGCast as one of the single distribution platforms
We were then contacted by Wizards (who make the game) and asked if we would like to attend any of the events as Press
In early 2008 Dom left the MTGCast network to pursue other projects however the website is completely community driven, Hodgetastic just own the domain name
